How to Use Auto Clicker Mod in Minecraft (Step by Step)

This is the complete beginner walkthrough on how to use the auto clicker mod in Minecraft. If you can drag a file into a folder, you can do this.

1. Install it

You need Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 with Fabric Loader. Download the mod from the button on this page and put the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder. Full detail is in our installation guide.

2. Get a good sword

The mod is designed around the sword's sweep attack. A sword with Sweeping Edge III, Looting III and Mending is ideal: sweeps damage nearby mobs, Looting boosts drops and Mending repairs the sword with the XP you collect.

3. Stand at your farm

Stand at the kill spot of your mob farm so mobs end up a block or two in front of you, within reach. Look straight at where they gather.

4. Press G

Press G to turn the auto clicker on. From now on the mod:

  • waits about 0.65 seconds between swings — just enough for the attack bar to reach 100%;
  • only swings when an entity is under your crosshair;
  • stops automatically if you start sprinting.

Press G again whenever you want to stop.

5. Stay safe while AFK

  • Make sure no mob can reach and hit you (use slabs, trapdoors or a glass wall).
  • Wear armor and keep food in your hotbar in case you return hungry.
  • Turn off Pause on Lost Focus (press F3 + P) so the game keeps running if you click another window.

6. Collect your loot

Use hoppers under the kill zone to collect drops into chests. Come back to a full XP bar and a stack of loot.

Common mistakes

  • Nothing happens: you're likely not looking at a mob, or you're sprinting.
  • Mod not in game: you launched the vanilla profile instead of Fabric.
  • Crash on start: wrong Minecraft version. See our fixes post.
