Forge has been the classic Minecraft mod loader for over a decade, so many players search for an auto clicker mod for Minecraft Forge first. Here's what you should know before you download.
Forge vs Fabric in one minute
Forge (and its newer fork, NeoForge) is great for big content mods and modpacks. Fabric is lighter, updates to new Minecraft versions faster and is popular for small utility and performance mods. A mod built for one loader will not load in the other.
Is the auto clicker mod available on Forge?
Currently, no. The auto clicker mod (Auto Clicker/FarmClicker) is released only for Fabric on Minecraft 26.3. If you drop the .jar into a Forge mods folder, Forge will either ignore it or show an error.
What Forge players can do
- Create a separate Fabric profile. You can keep your Forge modpack and add a lightweight Fabric installation just for AFK farming. Each launcher profile can use its own game directory so the mods don't mix.
- Use a launcher that manages profiles. The CurseForge app, Prism Launcher or Modrinth App let you create separate instances with one click.
- Watch the project page. Authors sometimes add new loaders. Follow the mod on CurseForge to get notified.
Don't use "Sinytra Connector" style workarounds blindly
Some tools let Fabric mods run on (Neo)Forge. They can work, but compatibility is never guaranteed and crashes are common. For a simple mod like this, a separate Fabric instance is the cleaner solution.
Why it's worth the extra profile
Unlike generic click macros, the mod reads the game's own attack cooldown, so each swing lands a full-strength sweep. It stops while you sprint and only attacks when a mob is targeted. That's more kills per minute with zero wasted swings.
