Forge 1.20.1 is one of the biggest modpack versions ever, so it makes sense that players search for an auto clicker mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1. Let's look at what actually works.
Compatibility first
The auto clicker mod featured here is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.3. That's two mismatches for a Forge 1.20.1 pack: a different mod loader and a different game version. It will not load in a 1.20.1 Forge instance.
Option 1: A dedicated farming instance
The simplest approach is to keep your 1.20.1 modpack untouched and create a second, clean instance:
- Open your launcher (CurseForge app, Prism or the official launcher).
- Create a new instance for Minecraft 26.3 with Fabric Loader.
- Add the auto clicker mod (and Fabric API if the mod page lists it as a dependency).
- Build or copy a vanilla mob farm in a new world and AFK there.
Note: you can't open a modded 1.20.1 world in 26.3 safely — missing modded blocks will be deleted. Keep the two worlds separate.
Option 2: Use your modpack's own automation
Many 1.20.1 packs already include automation that is better than clicking:
- Mob grinders and killer joes from tech mods.
- Fake-player tools such as deployers or mechanical arms that swing a sword for you.
- Auto-spawners that turn mob drops into items without combat.
These are built into the pack, so they're allowed on the pack's servers too.
Option 3: Wait for a Forge port
If a Forge or NeoForge build is ever released, it will appear in the mod's Files tab on CurseForge. Always download from there — not from re-upload sites.
Safety reminder
Modpack servers usually have rules about macros. Read them first. For more, see is the auto clicker mod safe and allowed? and our full setup guide.
